Most adults in America are regularly taking some form of health supplements to help with their health in one area or another.
People are living longer but as people begin to age their bodies sometimes need a helping hand, whether they need to aid their immune system or to help the way their body and skin is looking as they head towards their twilight years.
You can too: People have been wantiClick Here!ng to live longer for decades now but as they wished for it they probably gave little thought to how their bodies may perform as they went through the aging process. Check This Out. Click Here! The skin is what shows in the process of aging, the signs of aging tend to be, sagging, lines forming especially around the eyes, age spots appear on the hands and face. So, it’s completely understandable that they are going to turn to whatever product or act which will keep their youthful appearance going for as long as possible.
People don’t just want to look good as they get older they want to feel good too, so they will want to lead a healthy lifestyle but most of us will feel the need to follow some form of discipline to keep us on track, the problem for many of us is that if left alone, our willpower may falter and we fall by the wayside. So, if given a plan to follow whereby we can be held accountable and be cajoled when we need it most of us would probably stick to it.
It’s rarely sufficient for someone to be handed some supplement or another without any guidance because they need more than that, they need educating in how the supplement is going to help them and better still if they can see the results and keep a record so they can physically see all the changes taking place.
There are many supplements out there that can help people live a healthier life, some of which are natural and won’t cause you any damage. But quite often it’s not sufficient that in diet alone, that we can be sure of the correct balance of food which contains helpful ingredients such as antioxidants which we know are going to be good for us especially with the aging process.
This is the main reason why supplements play an important role in our daily regimen, it’s because we know for certain that we are going to get the correct amount for our daily requirements. There will never be a concern about whether we are taking too much of a supplement along with our normal diet, any extra amount over what our body requires will be expelled with our urine.
One of the most popular supplements for anyone concerned with aging will be the ones containing antioxidants, we know already that certain foods contain antioxidant properties which assist with cell protection. Antioxidants can help to protect your cells from damage, which helps to fend off diseases.
Antioxidant supplements come in the herbal form or natural, both of which will greatly help the body by preventing diseases, keeping blood clotting under control, and restoring your libido.
If you are looking for The best antioxidant products, you don’t need to buy several different products and use them together. You just need one product that has all the antioxidants you could possibly need. Cell Fuzion is such a product, Cell Fuzion contains so many antioxidants including transresveratrol, CoQ10, antioxidant vitamins, BioPQQ®, P40p™ and other substances that are not found in most anti-aging products.
Within the range of supplements, there are synthetic and non-synthetic, the non-synthetic supplements are absorbed into the body much faster than the synthetic versions, therefore, they provide the body with immediate results and no side effects.
Many of you may not have heard about the Hormone Anti-aging product but if we refer to it as HGH then it may well remind you that you have heard the term before. The human growth hormone also known as somatotropin is actually produced in all of us, it is done by the front, part of the pituitary gland and is responsible for the developement and growth of children through to adulthood.
Most of us understand that we are now living much longer than a century ago, but the problem is that most of us hate to look in the mirror as we go through the aging process. We become increasingly concerned about the way we show this aging process with how we look, hollow cheeks, sagging necks, double chin’s wrinkles around the eyes, bulging eyes, dark patches around the eyes etc.
Is Cosmetic Surgery The Answer?
At this point it may not be serious enough to go under the knife although a small percentage of us with plenty of disposable cash may well turn to cosmetic surgery to conceal the natural signs of aging.
The remaining number of concerned adults will have to look into other ways to keep looking young, there are a huge number of anti-aging products available some of which will be natural products and others will be man-made items and the range will include creams, lotions, potions and pills.
HGH is a natural hormone and it should be produced by the pituitary gland to promote growth and development within a child’s body. It also helps to regulate body composition, body fluids, muscle and bone growth, sugar and fat metabolism, and even heart function. Sadly though there are occasions where it is not produced in sufficient quantities.
It was this link to sugar and fat metabolism that led to the development of the manufactured Human Growth Hormone, it was initially designed to top up the natural hormone for those people who we’re under producing it, the hormone would normally cause a child’s growth to progress through to adulthood, but those with a deficiency would suffer a stunted growth of one type or another.
But the real question here is ‘what does HGH have to do with anti-aging?’ and why would someone make anti-aging related human growth hormone products? Well it may be obvious to many of you but the demand for anything which can hold back the tide of aging is always in high demand and companies love to fulfil such a demand. Okay money is not the only reason but it’s a hell of a reason for the pharmacy industry.
Along with promoting the growth and development of our cells, HGH can be used to control other internal systems too. More specifically it can target metabolic functions and help ontrol our body’s reaction to storing fat, meaning the use of The Human Growth Hormone can cause an increase of metabolic function, and a quickening of the breakdown of body fats.
For many this is a gift from the gods and a route to the regaining a youthful appearance. When combined with an exercise regimen the situation can only improve with the skin and tissue cells reacting more rapidly a return to a more youthful appearance is only good news.
HGH Treatments Readily Available
HGH treatments have become readily available and can be obtained in various forms without the need to consult a doctor, which will please many assuming the costs are reasonable for them. Studies into the effects of such products continue to be monitored and improvements constantly made because Anti-aging products will always be in high demand simply because we are living longer so we just need to keep our bodies in good working order as well as good looking order.
As for side effects, well as with the use of any hormone or treatment a proportionate number could suffer from some form of side effects and anyone considering such treatments should be aware of the likely possibilities. after all the human body is a complicated and delicate machine and you must take care of it and be responsible for its health and never overdose the recommended intake.
The Human Growth Hormone was originally engineered as a treatment to counter-balance those people who were suffering from a deficiency of that hormone. So, anyone thinking about using one of the anti-aging HGH products should be well versed of its effect, likely results and possible side effects if any. Some products use very little of the actual hormone itself, or take a homeopathic approach to its delivery using small doses to eventually gain a larger and longer lasting effect.
Always consider the dosage when taking any The Body’s Anti-Aging Product as too much of a dose, especially in a person who may have enough HGH in their system already, as this could cause significant and dangerous side effects. It may even be a good idea to discuss your intentions with your doctor before starting any such treatment because they know your history and it may just highlight any potential problems down the line. But be aware that some Doctors will pour cold water on such supplements and don’t really believe in their benefits. So, have your arguments ready and then decide for yourself.
While many reports support the use of Artificial HGH as part of an Anti-aging regimen it, we always like to support the alternative view so if you wish to read an article entitled “Growth Hormone No Fountain of Youth”
Focus And Concentration Can Often Suffer As You Age
Discover these eight key foods that will boost your focus and concentration as you go from middle age to old age and beyond.
Focus and Concentration are crucial in just about all our lives in one way or another.
Focus and concentration is something which many people struggle with, but in order to keep focused or to maintain concentration for anything from say thirty minutes or longer periods of time, or sometimes to get going at all. But quite often the secret to remaining focused or to maintaining concentration is not a myth at all.
Exercises using techniques from Yoga and Meditation have been proven to help focus mental performance for people over the age of forty and come highly recommended. But we can also turn our attention to Nature to come to our aid in the form of foods which we are already eating and will not only aid our focus and concentration but improve it as well.
I am going to go through eight of these food types and explain the merits of eating them and to explain why they are so good at helping with our memory techniques especially as we continue to get older
Salmon and other types of Oily Fish such as Trout, Tuna and Mackerel etc.
These types of Oily Fish contain vitamins A and D plus Omega-3, which has been proven to improve our brain function and concentration and by affecting our cognitive processes, we can think clearer which also means an increase in our focus. Oily Fish also have good anti-inflammatory properties, which helps to protect the brain cells and keep them functioning properly.
This group of fish also have other health benefits such as cardiovascular diseases and as they contain anti-inflammatory properties there are also said to be good at combating Arthritis.
Berries These are rich in antioxidants, especially vitamins A, C and E. The nutrients contribute to adequate blood flow to the brain, which is essential for maintaining brain function without which, the brain will have difficulty with concentration. Additionally, these foods contain anti-inflammatory properties and provide protection for the actual brain cells.
Tomatoes These have the same properties as Berries above, rich in antioxidant properties
Nuts Nuts are rich in vitamin B6, which has been scientifically proven to be beneficial to our cognitive function. Vitamin B6 directly affects our levels of memory and concentration, therefore increasing our intake is really expected to aid in our concentration. Research has also discovered another possible benefit of eating this type of food, rich in Vitamin B6, also aids in the protection against diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia
Dark Chocolate Especially good quality dark chocolate has many health benefits besides improving your focus and concentration. Research has shown that it can increase serotonin, and endorphin levels, which improves brain function. In addition, the dark chocolate also contains antioxidants and a number of important vitamins and minerals such as potassium. However as a note of caution, eating too much of this chocolate in a short space of time can only add to your calorie intake and can only lead to a reduction any positive effects it may have!
Green Tea This is a really refreshing drink, especially when you are ready for that caffeine hit. Many people turn to their favorite coffee or tea although by the time you add the milk and sugar, the calories mount up and often the overall benefit is lost. So substituting Green Tea for tea and coffee is going to improve your thinking and concentration and be far more beneficial for your figure. Green tea has been known to contain Antioxidants for some time but it also contains caffeine which aids your brainpower almost instantly and you can enjoy it knowing that you are also protecting and preserving your brain cells too.
Bananas These are very simple and easy to eat fruit, especially for those people on the go. Studies have shown that people who eat bananas before an examination will perform much better than those who don’t. Bananas also contain high levels of potassium which is itself a fantastic brain food. Potassium helps to keep your brain and nerve cells in top working order, so combine this with some of the other foods already mentioned and you should never be short of focus or concentration again.
Water Okay this may not strictly what we take to be food but without it we would not survive much beyond three days without it.
A large percentage of our body is made up of water, so it’s hardly surprising that we struggle to work properly if we don’t consume enough water on a regular basis. Dehydration can occur quickly and one of the first areas to be affected is the brain. So without water, it will be difficult to even think clearly and mental fatigue can easily set in.
In order to benefit from the foods above it is important to remember that we need a good well balanced diet, yes some people may have more fish in their diet because of seasonal availabilities and where they live, but most of us these days can mix up a menu by having meats, fish and poultry and potatoes along with other vegetables or salads.
If you choose to live on junk foods or processed foods, you will soon find yourself struggling not only with your attention and concentration, but with possible health concerns like weight, heart problems and diabetes, bone disorders and many other conditions far too many to list.
Our ability to fight aging will always depend on a number of factors but the earlier we act the easier it will be.
Aging is something that will come to us all eventually, but there’s a great deal that you can do to fight aging and ensure that you do not age quite as quickly and to make you feel better as you age.
For some of us getting old will mean little more than going thin on top (going bald) or even putting on a little more weight, so the prospects of growing old gracefully for some of us will do little more than affect our looks, but for others life may seem a little more daunting as they come to terms with a growing list of ailments and a bulging medicine cabinet.
Hopefully this short guide may help you to understand what you may do in order to help yourself in holding back the sands of time and effectively staving off the aging procedure so that you can enjoy a much better old age.
The first points to remember all concern our food and I want to point out that many of us heading in to our twilight years will experience changes to our digestive tract. This may include Irregular Bowel Movements, Constipation or Diarrhea all of which increase in regularity as we age.
So the three main areas which will help our bodies immensely are; 1. Ensure that we are drinking plenty of fluids, most of us don’t drink anything near the amounts that we should, which is around two to three liters each day. 2. We to ensure that we consume a regular supply is fibre, most of our fiber can be found in foods including cereals and vegetables. 3. Finally, where possible we should continue to exercise as much as possible bearing in mind the phrase; Use it of Lose it! which should be food for thought to many of you.
So how do we go about it?
The first one is obvious, it’s free and we should be drinking plenty of water especially with our meals but in addition to this we should always have a glass of water or a bottle on hand all of the time.
The next one is to ensure that we keep up with a well portioned and well nourished meals. Our meals should consist of vegetables like peas, carrots, spinach and cabbage and broccoli plus fruits such as Blueberries.
These veggies and fruits are especially helpful for our aging bodies because they contain Antioxidants which in turn help to fight the Free Radicals which if allowed to build up too high are known to be linked to many age related conditions.
Some of the vegetables mentioned have carotenoid and the fruits such as blueberries include flavonoid. So by having these within your meal plans for the week will certainly give your body a healthy boost in combating totally free radicals.
Thirdly is the topic of exercise, you hear of people in their nineties running marathons
while others half that age struggling to shuffle from one chair to the next. But the point here is that we need to do what we can in order to exercise our bodies by any means possible!
Cardiovascular workouts will offer the most benefit. Swimming is another form of enjoyable exercise which gets the lungs pumping and the blood moving around the body and as you are not jolting and of your joints as you would be in running for example, it is a less likely to damage your joints. Keep it simple and do what you can, everyone is different and it is your plan.
I always remember a term “aging is life and not an illness”.
But having made that statement you must also remember that as we age, it is expected that we will become more susceptible to the most common bugs including seasonal coughs and colds.
It all comes down to the fact that the longer we can keep our bodies healthy and fit the longer we can trust we shall enjoy good health, however there will always be the unexpected!
Don’t forget about the Mind
To be able to fight aging we must remember that keeping active is the key to maintaining our
bodies healthy and strong but it is also just as important that we remember to keep the mind strong and healthy too.
We can not afford to forget about the mind as it too needs to be given a good workout in order to keep it sharp. So doing simple projects or possibly new ones will see that our minds stay as sharp as possible throughout our age. Another method is to join various groups for meetings and socializing, just the company of others can work wonder for the soul. Humans need this social interaction.
Self-Care is Essential In Reducing Aging, plus you may be able to hold back the ravages of time and wrinkles.
Self-Care should help to keep your skin looking young and firm.
Self-Care demonstrates the important’s of maintaining your skin keeping it feeling soft and looking healthy and firm, not yellowing with dark skin spots and moles.
Self-Care is a wonderful thing and if many of us had listened to our elders when we were young maybe we would have looked after our skin a little better as we grew up simply by using a little Self-Care! But that’s life and as we mature into adults some of us do begin to look after ourselves a little better using self-care, and girls tend to be better at it than men. Just look at the way girls do their hair and make up and generally look after their skin.
This is something that women especially have been doing for a very long time. However, in today’s world, most women and increasingly men alike pay special attention to their looks before venturing out in public. We now see almost as many advertisements for cosmetic items for Men as we do for Women, with various creams, pre-shave,after-shave and a number of hair care products too.
The earlier we begin to look after our bodies, especially our skin the easier it becomes to keep it out of direct sunlight, moisturized and nourished with the right vitamins etc.
After all most of us would prefer not to look in the mirror to see a face that is getting older with wrinkles and dark areas showing under and around their eyes.
So modern thinking about beauty products and treatments apply equally to Men as well as Women, have you noticed that there
are now as many ads for Men’s products as there are for Women? A different approach to the ads of only ten years back.
But the point is that these products that keep your face and skin fresh looking tight and glowing are all Ant-Aging products. Some of the products we use are easily found in Nature or in the food or drinks we consume. Many of us take supplements in order to help us to obtain a more youthful appearance and to keep in good shape.
But as you age you may have noticed that some people begin to stoop or to develop what is termed round shoulders, this is all to do with your stature and you can improve this immediately just by sitting or standing correctly, nice and straight, so that you have the correct posture and this alone will make you feel better with a little more confidence and you are less likely to look like a much older person. But surely you must remember being told to do these things by your folks when you were young? This is what Self care is all about-Just looking after yourself and taking responsibility for your body and soul.
Skin Care Have you ever heard the term “Beauty is only Skin Deep” This might well be true and it is important to remember and it is the reason we spend so much on skin products in order to keep and maintain what is only a thin barrier to the outside. It is important to keep on top of our skin because it is the first area of our bodies which shows signs of aging if we mistreat it.
But there are other things that can keep you looking young, everything from skincare products to good fashion sense. But first let’s take a look at some of the problem areas.
Skin is your largest organ and unfortunately it takes quite a battering from the weather or through hard work, it is also one of the most neglected areas of our body. Let us look at some of the other areas where our skin may be exposed to areas where irreversible damage could be inflicted. Severely Hot or Cold weather can quickly and easily damage any exposed skin, so can not drinking enough, de-hydration can cause drying and cracks to develop.
If you are a worker in the great outdoors then it is extremely important to cover up with the correct work gear before venturing out otherwise you are just asking for trouble whether you are in the hot deserts or the freezing arctic, the same rule applies, use self care to look after yourself because you alone are responsible for your own life!
Sun Tans, everyone likes the look that exposure to the sun has upon our appearance, a Sun Tan makes us look and feel better, we are more confident when we have a good tan. But as we are subjecting our skin to hours of harsh sunlight, especially without the protection of any creams to prevent harmful rays from damaging the skin cells. But those rays will take a toll on your beauty.
Tanning looks great in your younger days, but as you age your skin will look leathery as you get older and the lines will increase and deepen. Not to mention, it could bring out more moles and even contribute towards skin cancer.
We have known this for a number of years now but still some of us will continue to lay out in the Sun without a care or sun cream or perhaps worse we will use the dreaded sun beds which provide a concentrated burst of UV Rays straight to our skin.
It will be ten or twenty years plus, later when the damage reveals itself. So the message has been promoted for the past decade that whatever age we are, use a strong sun screen with at least the correct SPF protection should be used and re-applied every thirty minutes or following each dip in the pool or sea. Or the best advice would be to cover up completely.
You can get makeup that has SPF protection built into it, but this may not be sufficient on its own, so add an extra layer of protection under your makeup to maximize your benefits. Some form of moisturizing is another thing to remember to either combine with your protection or at the very least you must apply it when you have finished your sun bathing session and you have cleaned up and most definitely at night with your normal skin care regimen.
Everyone is concerned when wrinkles begin to appear, but they generally appear due to the skin drying up. Wrinkles themselves give the appearance of drying up. So you have to hydrate it, but typical solutions aren’t enough when used alone. You need to drink plenty of water throughout the day, remember our bodies are 90% water and as we work or exercise we perspire (sweat) so we need to continually replace this liquid, in doing so we may assist the skin in appearing to be plumped up and firm.
A women has pretty much standard nightly routines, during which a variety of moisturizers and other products may be used on the skin mainly on her face. This may include eye care, facial moisturizers and body moisturizers.
Facial moisturizers usually have a day or night application. The daytime ones offer more protection from harmful rays and toxins (like pollutants) that you may encounter during the day.
Night time moisturizers remove and repair the damage that may have been done by the free radicals floating around in the air that you encountered. You want to make sure you’ve thoroughly cleansed your face before you apply it so that it can work on a totally clean skin and is able to penetrate deep into your cells. If you do sleep in your daytime makeup it could be damaging.
Hair is another part of you that will show your age, often very prematurely. Both men and women in their twenties and early thirties who begin to go thin and begin to lose their hair or they show signs of going gray much younger than others of the same age. Now I must say that it is quite normal to lose up to one hundred hairs each day but any more and you know that you must have a problem.
Some supplements, such as Biotin and Palmetto, said to strengthen hair and nails as they are made from a similar substance. This will not replace any lost hair but it may help to strengthen any you have left.
Another factor which can affect aging and how you look including lost hair is STRESS, this is a growing problem in today’s hectic work places with increasing numbers of people being treated for stress and related illnesses including heart attacks, circulation problems and mental health issues. Other causes can be Thyroid disease,
If you can recognize these signs before they have a serious impact on your life and take steps to change you workplace if at all possible. If you can get your Doctor to do a complete vitamin panel so that you both can see if your body is low on any particular vitamins, in fact while taking bloods he may as well do a complete check up just to ensure nothing else is going on with your body. If it is a vitamin deficiency then it is an easy fix either with injections or with regular supplements.
There are also over the counter hair loss solutions which work for some people such as Rogaine, although your Doctor may decide to go for something stronger, but it is better to opt for a natural or organic solutions first.
For people going prematurely grey, this is an issue which is caused the loss or reduction of melanin, which is a pigment of your hair, although it is normal for people to begin losing this pigmentation around middle age which can be around thirty to forty.
You don’t have to remain grey if you don’t wish to it is quite easy and common for people to apply color(s) to their hair, you can try to regain or match your previous color or you could change your color to anything you feel like, after all its your hair.
Just a note of caution, if its the first time that you have applied color to your hair it is worth having your local salon do it as they will do a test to ensure that your head (skin) is suitable for the test and that you are not going to suffer any kind of adverse reaction to the coloring agent.
The other reason I would suggest a salon is because the hair especially for women is such an important feature for them, that to have any misfortune at all, like going bright pink unintentionally would see them indoors for weeks or until it can be changed. While you are there, you could have a discussion with the stylist to get their opinion about whether your hair style and color is in line with your normal age.
Many of us lead very hectic and fast paced lives causing high levels of stress which we know is bad for us. But did you know that Spirituality can not only help with our stress issues, it can also be a real factor in the slowing things down mentally, and emotionally therefore helping to slow the aging process in all of those areas.
Stress should concern everyone in this hectic world because stress ages you like nothing else. Just ask any Medical Professional and they will tell you that stress is a killer, it is the cause of many internal and external conditions, just take a look and many of the top executives and managers over the age of fifty and it should be plain to see.
What does spirituality have to do with getting old? We know that stress affects the Aging Process? We also know that when you are affected by stress, as many of us are, the body produces more cortisol. Too much cortisol will damage the skin and this alone will make the person appear much older. Here are some self-care ideas that will help you.
Spirituality Can Help Fight Aging When discussing spirituality, I am not talking about religion, because spirituality doesn’t need to be linked solely with religion even though it could be. It could be situations that didn’t work out for you but you hold some form of lingering resentment. So by releasing these feelings, you free yourself. Also by forgiving the things that have gone before, you are able to break the bond which holds you and ties you to these emotional situations. If you manage to do this you will discover positive changes in your life and this can only be good for you leaving you feeling and looking much younger in appearance. Spirituality and Peace are often linked together for good reason, especially the kind of peace which provides freedom, freedom you deserve which in turn relieves stress and gets you started on the road to profound happiness, contentment which then radiates from inside. Everyone has a link between their spirit, emotions and their body, so if the spirit is free, the body will heal and so will their emotions. This state is often referred to as their higher self. When you align your body with your higher self, you gain empowerment. You will be able to accept the grace, the peace and the happiness which will flow to you and from within you.
You will be able to gain clarity and a connection which will enable you to place stress in its own place within your life and you will learn to put everything in its proper place, both good and bad, enabling you to continue to grow as a person without previous baggage. Also referred to as mindfulness. It means that you make sure you remain in the present. You no longer worry about the future or what it might bring, leaving you to focus on the now, especially to enjoy what is happening right now. This has also been referred to as keeping negativity at bay. By maintaining a positive mental attitude, you can go a long way toward preventing stress and aging, proving that attitude and spirituality go hand in hand.
